WOLONG Motor Rotor Squirrel Cage Design

The Rotor Engineering

The rotor features a rugged squirrel cage design. Cast aluminum rotors are produced using centrifugal casting or die-casting techniques, creating a solid single-piece construction integrating rotor bars and end rings. This guarantees outstanding torque properties.

For larger capacities, copper bar rotors with reliable end-ring welding are employed. High-speed models include an additional protective ring design to ensure high rotational reliability under variable loads.

WOLONG Motor Stator VPI Winding Process

The Stator Insulation

The stator coil is constructed from advanced polyester film reinforced with glass cloth and high-mica-content tape. Following a rigorous Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) process, a moisture-proof, chemically resistant, and thermally stable stator system is delivered.

This design secures high dielectric strength, structural integrity, and long service life under thermal stress, meeting Class H or F standards.

WOLONG Heavy Duty Cast Iron Frame

The Motor Frame

Our frames utilize digital simulation platforms (structural and fluid multi-physics fields) to optimize strength. Using premium cast iron or structural steel, they feature high structural redundancy, excellent heat dissipation, and natural frequency isolation.

This ensures the motor survives severe mechanical shocks and operates with minimum vibration levels in mining installations.
